Avast Antivirus Free License Key for One Year & Review
Avast Antivirus is one of the very few antivirus programs that offer a free version, Avast Free Antivirus, for home users that simply want the anti virus functionality to protect their computer. Even though it is free it doesn’t necessarily mean that it isn’t as good as the pro version, Avast Pro Antivirus. The free version, or the home edition, offers the same protection level as the pro one. The only thing that makes the two different is simply the features. In pro version, you can get what is called as SafeZone, which was created to protect your account while doing banking or shopping online. Of course, you can get even more features if you use Avast Internet Security, but you’ll have to pay more to get it.
Avast Free Antivirus offers some nifty features such as Auto Sandbox, which allows you to run an application inside a sandboxed environment if it looks suspicious. This way you will be able to test the software without harming your system. Another feature you should see is the WebRep, which is a website reputation system created to prevent you from landing on harmful web pages.
Avast Antivirus free edition offers three scan types. Quick scan to perform a fast scan over your system, full scan to perform a thorough check to make sure that nothing harmful enters your system, and, additionally, the ability to scan removable drives and custom folders. It also provides an optional boot-time scan feature that runs before Windows is loaded. Each of the scan types can be customized like whether you want to unpack archive files when scanning, which archive formats to be unpacked, what action should be taken when a virus found and so on. There are plenty of things that you can customize.
Site Blocking is another feature provided within Antivirus Free Antivirus. The purpose is clear. Users can utilize it to block unwanted sites. To prevent unauthorized users changing your list of blocked site within the program, you can activate its password protection. Anyone that attempts to access your Avast must enter the correct password. You can choose which parts of the program that you want to password protect.

All you have to do is asking for the license directly from Avast. With the free license, you can use Avast free for one year. When it expires, you can ask another free license.
There are at least two ways of getting the license key, but here I’ll just show you the easiest one.
