Delete Locked File in Windows Explorer with Unlocker Freeware

How do you delete a file if the file cannot be deleted? It happens sometimes in Windows. The error message that the most users catch is probably that the file is being in use by other programs or access is denied. The funny thing is the message doesn’t show us which program that locks the file or any other solution. You are told to close the programs that are accessing the file, but how do you know which one to close if you don’t know which one locks the file?

Many of you may even have tried to close all programs and even restarting the explorer process, but the file still cannot be deleted. Pretty annoying, isn’t it?

Use Unlocker. I have tried this one and it really works. From what I see, Unlocker offers the most comfortable way in deleting a locked file. Instead of killing the explorer process or restarting Windows, it lets you to rename, move, or delete a locked file simply from the right-click menu in Windows explorer.

Unlocker is a freeware that runs under Windows Vista, XP, 2000 and 2003. Highly recommended.
