Is there such a thing as privacy still left?
With all the Spy gadgets and spy equipment out there to buy, we have to ask the question of have we gone too far? Have we become that paranoid that we need to spy on everyone? While technology becomes cheaper and smaller, more people have access to spying devices and it can now come in objects as small as a pen. While the equipment hasnt gotten that cheap to the point where people can buy it just for the fun of having it- we are in a recession after all, it has gotten to the price where people can consider it if they want to spy on a cheating spouse.
What is it about this gear that helps us out? Well, if your got your suspicions that your wife is cheating on you, or you want to catch your neighbour who your arguing with, it can be great for gathering evidence of thier crimes. Businesses get the most use out of surveillance equipment -acting as a theft deterrent and recording evidence when something does happen.
But using the eqiupment to spy on those we know? It all depends on if we’re using the equipment sensibly, because it can be a huge invasion on privacy, and when it too far to far? It is possible to record a persons movements all day with all the gps vehicle tracking, phone spying software and hidden cameras that are now available. Are we close to being to obbssessive over what other people are doing? we’ve been worried for awhile that our governments being spying on us, but now we’re being spied on by family and friends? We must make sure that while using such devices to protect ourselves that we dont turn the country into a ‘Big brother state’, where only the privacy in the inside of our heads is all we have left. Awsome stuff I say
